Village Of Clatonia 
Dump

The Village Of Clatonia provides an area for residents to dump their trees, branches, grass clippings, leaves, and other plant material. It is located right by the railroad tracks on Washington Street/Highway 41 and just north of the Farmers' Cooperative Bins on Maple Street. 

The dump is separated into 2 piles. One is for trees and branches and the other is for grass clippings, leaves, and other plant material.

The first pile as you come in is for grass clippings, leaves, and plant material ONLY.

Items NOT allowed in this pile are

  • Branches or Twigs

  • Trees

  • House Siding

  • Metal of any kind. This includes fence posts, T posts, rebar, pipes, railroad ties, chain link fence, nails, screws, or any other kind of metal fasteners. 

  • Untreated Wood

  • Treated Wood. This includes landscape timbers and other wood that has been painted, stained, or treated with any kind of preservative.

  • Trash (including plastic water/pop bottles, cardboard, paper, etc)

  • Tires

The second pile is for trees, branches, and NON treated lumber ONLY. WHOLE trees are not allowed. They must be cut into chunks and contain NO roots or dirt.

Items NOT allowed in this pile are

  • Treated Lumber. This includes house siding and any kind of wood that has been painted, stained, or treated with any kind of preservative.

  • ​Metal of any kind. This includes fence posts, T posts, rebar, pipes, railroad ties, chain link fence, nails, screws, or any other kind of metal fasteners. 

  • Landscape timbers

  • Cardboard

  • Trash

  • Plastic. This includes pop/water bottles and house siding

  • Tires
